How to receive payment in DotWallet? - DotWallet

DotWallet supports the received payment from a peer-to-peer address or via QR code. Please make sure which kinds of cryptos you want to transfer before you do it. For instance, if you accidentally transfer the BSV assets to a BTC address, those assets will never be received or returned.

1. address: Copy the wallet address to the sender to transfer money to your wallet.

2. QR code: The sender scans your QR code to transfer money to your wallet.

Among all those services above, DotWallet supports "0 confirmations" by BSV Payment, but transferring BTC and ETH from external channels requires 3 to 12 confirmations.  If you transfer BTC and ETH within the DotWallet system, we support "0 confirmations".

Operation Steps：

Click on [Receive] on the main interface to enter the payment interface. DotWallet is set to support BSV as the default unit. If you need to receive BTC,  please click [Currency]. Copy the wallet address to receive the payment or generate a QR code to receive the payment. Also, if you want to use the new address, just click [new address].  The old address can still be used, which can be found in the [Address history].

Note: Please transfer the currency corresponding to the payment address, otherwise your assets will not be retrieved!

Address History: 

You can pick the randomly generated address when transferring to protect privacy. If you need to use the previous address, check the Address history.
